AquaMatic WA125 Valves

Many people see the wa125 designation stamped on our AquaMatic Valves.

This stands for:

  • wa = Water and Air,
  • 125 = 125psi presure rating.

If you have a wa125 valve and are looking for parts or replacements you need to work out a couple of things.

  1. What material is it?
Cast Iron – V42 or VAV Valves
    Stainless Steel – V46 Valves
    Thermoplastic – K52 Valves
Thermoplastic (with bonnet top) – K55 Valves
    PVC – K53 Valves
  2. If Cast Iron, is it used for Liquid or Air?
    Liquid – V42 Valves
    Air – VAV Valves
  3. What diameter pipe?
You can figure this in a number of ways.
    a) measure – 3/4″, 2″. etc.,
    b) code type – V42B, or V42H, etc.,
    c) valve sub-number – K521, K524, etc.

With these you can work out;

Measurement Valve Sub-Number Code Type V42 V46 VAV K52 K53 K55
1/2″ = – – 0 = A K520 K550
3/4″ = – – 1 = B V42B – 421 VAVB
1″ = – – 1 = C V42C – 421 V46C – 461 VAVC K521 K531 K551
1.25″ = – – 4 = D V42D – 424
1.5″ = – – 4 = E V42E – 424 V46E – 464 VAVE K524 K534 K554
2″ = – – 5 = F – Body A V42F – 425 V46F – 465 VAVF K535
2″ = – – 6 = G – Body B V42G – 426 VAVG
2.5″ = – – 6 = H V42H – 426 VAVH K526
3″ = – – 7 = J V42J – 427 VAVJ K537
4″ = – – 8 = K V42K – 428 VAVK
6″ = – – 9 = L V42L – 429
