ORB-128 – O-Ring, -128, BUNA

The AqMatic ORB-128 is a Buna-N replacement O-ring designed for use in compatible AqMatic diaphragm valve assemblies and related internal sealing applications. As part of the standard service and maintenance ecosystem for AqMatic valves, the ORB-128 helps maintain leak resistance, seal integrity, and proper pressure isolation within the valve assembly.

Buna-N, also referred to as nitrile rubber, is widely used in industrial water treatment and fluid-control systems because of its durability, flexibility, and resistance to oils, greases, and many common process fluids. This makes the ORB-128 suitable for a broad range of commercial and industrial applications involving filtration systems, softeners, regeneration controls, and automated diaphragm valve systems.

The “-128” designation references the standardized O-ring sizing specification used across industrial sealing systems, allowing technicians and maintenance teams to match replacement seals to compatible assemblies during rebuilds and preventive maintenance intervals.

This O-ring is commonly replaced during diaphragm valve servicing to help prevent leakage, pressure loss, or seal degradation caused by wear, compression set, chemical exposure, or age-related hardening.
