PERFORMANCE BULLETIN 103 – V42 & VAV Series Shaft Guide Update

Shaft Guides for 2” and 3” metal valves (V425, VAV5, V426, VAV6, V427, and VAV7) are being updated to use a new investment cast design. The fit, and function of the parts will remain unaffected and the new Shaft Guides will be fully interchangeable with the old.
The new style Shaft Guides will feature a 1.25” hex for easy removal and maintain the dual shaft o-ring design for improved shaft alignment. The Shaft Guides will remain 303 Stainless Steel material. As a result of this update, the Part Numbers will be changed as shown below. Kits containing the Shaft Guides will not change Part Numbers. The update will be implemented when inventory of the current machined version is exhausted.
