Stager motors are being changed to a worm gear driven design. This change is a result of an
unfortunate natural disaster which destroyed the legacy motor manufacturer’s facility and all
production equipment. Luckily, no one was hurt, but Autotrol brand motors are no longer
available. The new motors have slightly higher torque and are a direct replacement to the current
except the new motors do not have a clutch.
Because they do not have a clutch, the new motors cannot be rotated by hand. If manual rotation of the stager is required with the new motors, the two motor mounting screws will need to be removed and the motor disengaged from the stager cam.
Reference table below for replacement motors by voltage and application.

All the new motors, 53030, 53031, and 53032 use the same base components. The 12 VAC and 24 VAC motor 53030 includes a small rectifier circuit board to convert either 12 VAC or 24 VAC voltage to a DC signal the motor requires.
The 53031 is the same as 53030 plus a two-pin connector for an NXT wire harness.
The 53032 uses 53030 plus a small power supply to convert high voltage AC power (100-265 VAC) to low voltage DC needed to operate the new motors. The power supply is mounted to a bracket that can be installed on either side of the stager as dictated by the space allowed within the enclosure.
AqMatic is now the company producing AquaMatic valves and will, over time be re-branding them as AqMatic valves.
